Student A: Hi, Nick! I haven't seen you for ages! How are you?
Student B: Hi, Anna! I'm fine, thanks. Hope you are fine, too.
Student A: By the way, did you get many presents on New Year's Day?
Student B: Oh, lots and lots! I got a new IPod and a lot of sweets and souvenirs! And you? What presents did you get?
Student A: I got a lot of presents, too. Nick, when do you usually get presents?
Student B: I often get presents on my birthday, on New Year's Day, on Christmas Day. And I give presents to my relatives and friends on their birthdays and on New Year's Day. Anna, what presents do you give your relatives and friends?
Student A: I often give small toys, books, nice cards and flowers to my friends. It is more difficult to choose the right present for relatives.
Student B: That is really so! Anna, where do you buy presents?
Student A: It depends on the present. If I want to buy a book, I go to a bookshop. If I'm going to buy a bunch of flowers, I go to the florist's shop. I sometimes go to a department store to buy some souvenirs. By the way, can you make presents yourself?
Student B: Yes, I can! I like to make small toys. They can be really nice!Anna,what was the nicest present you got?
Student A: Two years ago I got a nice puppy from my mum and dad!
It was the nicest present I have ever got!
Nick, what present would you like to get for Christmas?
Student B: Oh, I am dreaming of getting a new ....! But I think the best present for me is always my family's health and happiness!
Student A: I agree with you there.
