для учащихся 5-х классов

Give a talk about English-speaking countries.

 Remeber to say: 

 - what English-speaking countries you know 

- what language is the most important international language nowadays 

- give American equivalents for the British words "biscuits", sweets" and "autumn" 

 I'd like to give a talk about English-speaking countries. English is spoken all over the world. It is popular and taught in many countries. People of different nationalities  use it to understand each other. It has become the most important international language nowadays. 

But there are countries where people use it as their native language. They are: Great Britain, the USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. These are English-speaking countries.  Though people in these countries speak English, yet it is a little different in each of these countries. For example, in England people live in  flats but they  live in apartments in America. They eat cookies and candies in the USA, but biscuits and sweets in Great Britain. They say "autumn" in Great Britain but they say "fall" in the USA.
