Give a talk on shopping.  

Remember to say:  

 - where people go to buy food, what the names of the shops are 

 - where people go to buy clothes   

 - if you often go shopping and what you usually buy   

 I'd like to give a talk on shopping. People go shopping practically every day. People need bread, milk, butter, meat, fish, eggs, fruit and vegetables to live and stay healthy. We buy white bread and brown bread at the baker's. We buy flour, sugar, rice and salt at the grocer's. We buy meat (pork, beef), sausages at the butcher's. We buy fish at the fishmonger's. We buy fruit and vegetables at the greengrocer's. We buy dairy products at the dairy. We buy biscuits, cakes at the confectionery. We buy sweets and chocolate at the sweet shop. 

 But to buy clothes people go to a department store. There are different departments at a department store. There is a women's clothes department, a men's clothes department and others. As for our family, we usually go shopping once a week, on Saturday or Sunday. We buy different things - clothes and food. Mother usually asks me to buy a loaf of bread and a carton of yoghurt every day. I never buy expensive things. My parents do this together.
