Утвердительное предложение:
I usually get up at 6 o'clock in the morning. - Я обычно встаю в 6 часов утра. Глагол get up употреблён в 1 форме без окончаний.
Если говорим о ней или о нём, то к глаголу нужно добавить окончание -s или - es:
She usually gets up at 7 o'clock in the morning.
Чтобы построить отрицание или задать вопрос, необходимо употребить вспомогательный глагол do или does:
I don't play the guitar. - Я не играю на гитаре.
She doesn't go to school. - Она не ходит в школу.
They don't like tennis. - Они не любят теннис.
1 тип вопроса - Общий вопрос:
Do you get up at 6 o'clock? Does she go to school?
2 тип вопроса - альтернативный вопрос:
Do you get up at 6 o'clock or at 7 o'clock?
Does she go to the park or to the cinema?
3 тип вопроса - разделительный вопрос:
You get up at 6 o'clock, don't you? She likes tennis, doesn't she?
4 тип вопроса - специальный вопрос:
When do you usually get up? What games do like to play?
With whom do you play tennis? Where does she go in the morning? Why does your friend come home late?
5 тип вопроса - вопрос к подлежащему (не используется вспомогательный глагол):
Who gets up at 6 o'clock? Who plays tennis?
Для того, чтобы сказать о своих действиях в прошлом, используется время глагола Past Simple. Необходимо добавить окончание -ed:
help - helped - помог(ла)
Если глагол неправильный, мы запоминаем 2 форму глагола. Список неправильных глаголов дан выше.
Утверждение:
I helped my mum yesterday. - Я помог маме вчера.
I got up at 6 o'clock yesterday. - Я встала в 6 часов вчера.
Чтобы построить отрицание или задать вопрос, необходимо употребить вспомогательный глагол did.
1 тип вопроса - общий:
Did you help your mum yesterday?
2 тип вопроса - альтернативный:
Did you go to school or to the park yesterday?
3 тип вопроса - разделительный:
You went to school yesterday, didn't you?
4 тип вопроса - специальный:
When did you get up yesterday? - Когда ты встал вчера?
5 тип вопроса - вопрос к подлежащему:
Who went to school yesterday? - Кто ходил в школу вчера? (В этом вопросе вспомогательный глагол не нужен).
Чтобы сказать о действии, которое происходит в момент речи, сейчас, используем время Present Continuous.
Сигналы настоящего длительного времени:
now - cейчас
at this moment - в данный момент
Утверждение:
I am sitting now. - Я сейчас сижу.
You are reading now. - Ты сейчас читаешь.
He is playing computer now. - Он сейчас играет на компьютере.
She is sleeping now. - Она сейчас спит.
Чтобы построить отрицание, необходимо поставить в отрицательную форму вспомогательный глагол be, который имеет 3 формы: am, is, are. Отрицание:
I am not reading now.
You are not working now.
He is not playing now.
She is not writing now.
They are not sleeping now.

We buy white bread and brown bread at the baker's. We buy flour, sugar, rice and salt at the grocer's. We buy meat (pork, beef), sausages at the butcher's. We buy fish at the fishmonger's. We buy fruit and vegetables at the greengrocer's. We buy dairy products at the dairy. We buy biscuits, cakes at the confectionery. We buy sweets and chocolate at the sweet shop.
But to buy clothes people go to a department store. There are different departments at a department store. There is a women's clothes department, a men's clothes department and others. As for our family, we usually go shopping once a week, on Saturday or Sunday. We buy different things - clothes and food. Mother usually asks me to buy a loaf of bread and a carton of yoghurt every day. I never buy expensive things. My parents do this together.

I'd like to give a talk on popular British sports and games. Well, the British people like sports and games very much. Such sports as athletics, climbing, horse riding, boating and rowing are popular in Britain. They play different games. They are: football, cricket, tennis, golf, hockey and rugby. Britain invented many sports and games. Football is one of them. The national teams of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland compete with each other every year. They take part in different competitions. The two best teams play in the Cup Final at Wembley Stadium in London. There are many football clubs all over Britain.
There is another popular sport. It is cricket. It is called the English national game. Cricket was invented many years ago in 1550. It is a summer game. Teams play weekly games from late April to the end of September. Cricket is a very long game. Internatinal cricket matches can last for 5 days.
Tennis is another popular game in Britain. In June the British hold their famous International Tennis Championship at Wimbledon, in west London.

It's very bad for a person to be ill or to suffer from any illness.
To keep fit and stay healthy people should follow some rules. They should get up early and go to bed early. They shoud take regular exercises. They should eat healthy food. They should clean their teeth every morning and every evening. They should wash their hands before they eat. They shouldn't eat fast food or fat food. They shouldn't smoke. They shouldn't drink alcohol.
As for me, I do everything to keep fit and stay healthy. For example, I get up at 6 o'clock in the morning and do my morning exercises. Then I take a cool shower. I usually have a light breakfast. I have some porridge and an apple. They say, "An apple a day keeps the doctor away". After school I go to my volleyball club. In the evening I don't watch much of TV. I go to bed early, at about 10 p.m.

I'd like to give a talk on the Queen and the Parliament of the UK.
I should say that it's difficult to understand the British way of ruling the country. In Britain the Queen is the Head of State, but in fact she doesn't rule the country as she has no power.The Queen is the symbol of the country, its history and its traditions.
The Queen travels about the United Kingdom, meets different people and visits schools, hospitals and other special places. So do all the members of the Royal Family: the Queen's husband, her son Prince Charles, the Queen's daughter Princess Anne and Princess Margaret, the Queen's sister. The Queen of Great Britain is also the Head of the Commonwealth and the Queen of Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
But the real power in in the country belongs to the British Parliament and to the British Government. The British Parliament has two houses: the House of Commons and the House of Lords. The House of Lords doesn't have much power but it is very important as it can discuss and change laws, it can delay laws, too. The House of Commons makes laws about the policy of the country, taxes and many other things. The members of the House of Lords are not elected, they are selected. These members are permanent. They are often aristocrats, people of the church, lawyers and former politicians or life peers. The members of the House of Commons are elected. The British people elect 650 members of the House of Commons every five years.

The UK is separated from the continent by the English Channel and the Straits of Dover.The UK is also washed by the Atlantic Ocean in the north and the North Sea in the east. Everyone who was born in Britain is British. People from England are English. People from Scotland are Scottish or Scots. People from Wales are Welsh. People from Northern Ireland are Irish. Everyone in Britain speaks English, but in some parts of Scotland and Wales people speak different languages as well. For example, the Welsh speak Welsh. The flag of the UK is called the Union Jack. It is made up of three crosses: the cross of St. George (the patron saint of England), the cross of St.Andrew (the patron saint of Scotland) and the cross of St. Patrick (the patron saint of Ireland).

People have hunted and killed many tigers in India and a lot of elephants in Africa. There are some reasons for that. Firstly, tigers and elephants are often dangerous animals. Tigers can kill cows, sheep, other domestic animals and sometimes they can also kill people. Some people are afraid of tigers and kill them to save their domestic animals and their lives. Secondly, there are people who hunt tigers for fun and for their beautiful skin. They can sell the skin and get a lot of money. Besides, animals are disappearing as they don't have a place to live. People have cut down a lot of trees.
There are many other animals and birds which are in danger nowadays because modern life is bad for them. The air is not fresh. The water is not clean. You can find their names in the Red Book.
People must take special care of them all. We must save wild animals. We must take care of nature. We must set up national parks where animals are protected. We mustn't kill animals for their skin.

The largest country in the world is the Russian Federation (Russia). The smallest country is the Vatican. All the countries have interesting people , places, animals and plants.

I'd like to give a talk on Russian holidays. Russian people like holidays very much. They usually celebrate them with a lot of food, presents and in big companies of relatives and friends. We've got a lot of holidays. Some of them are old. Others are new. There are three types of holidays in Russia. They are family holidays, state holidays and religious holidays.
Each family has its own traditions. We all like birthdays. As for me, I celebrate my birthday with my close friends.
As for the state and public holidays, they are Constitution Day, New Year's Day, the International Women's Day, May Day, Victory Day and Russia Day. During these holidays people do not work. New Year's Day is the most favourite holiday in Russia. There is a tradition of putting up a New Year tree and decorating it with colourful toys. But the most important holiday is Victory Day. On this day we remember those who protected our country from the German invaders during World War II. A great parade is held in Red Square in Moscow. War and patriotic films are shown on television. On this day people show their respect to the veterans and give them flowers.
There are religious holidays. They are Christmas and Easter. There are holidays which are also celebrated in other countries. They are Christmas, Easter and New Year's Day.
Our family likes to celebrate New Year's Day. We always put up a New Year tree, decorate it, and prepare a holiday dinner. We buy a lot of presents for our relatives and friends. We watch holiday performances on TV. We usually have a lot of fun. If the weather is not cold, we often go for a walk and set off fireworks. America was discovered by Christopher Columbus in 1492 (fourteen -ninety-two). "In fourteen hundred and ninety-two Columbus sailed the ocean blue..." are the lyrics of the song. But the country - the USA - was formed later - in the 17 -18th centuries. George Washington played an important part in the country's development. He was the first American president. George Washington served as the president from 1789 to 1797. He became one of the "Fathers of the nation".
Nowadays there are fifty states in America. Its capital is Washington, D.C. Though it is not the largest city of America, Washington, D.C. is its political center where the White House and the Capitol are situated. These are the residence and the seat of the American president and the Congress.

There are many mountains, rivers, lakes and forests in my country, some of which are very beautiful. The Volga is the longest river in Europe. It flows into the Caspian Sea. There are many beautiful old towns on its banks. Some of them are Nizhny Novgorod, Kazan, Samara, Saratov, Volgograd. Practically all of them are interesting places, famous for their history.

Many people work in the City but very few live there. There are a lot of banks and other offices there too. Besides, there are some interesting places there. One of them is the Tower of London. The Tower of London has been a fortress, a palace, a prison and the King's Zoo. Now it is a museum. There are a lot of shops in London. Oxford Street is London's main shopping centre. You can find many old and new beautiful parks in the city. The largest park in London is Hyde Park. Another important part of London is Westminster. Here you can see the Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey. Westminster Abbey is the oldest church where English and British monarchs and famous English writers and scientists are buried. Trafalgar Square is a famous square. There is a column in the middle of the square. On the top of it there is a figure of Admiral Nelson. London is the city where you will never get bored. There are lots of theatres, cinemas, shops and museums there.

People can get to different places differently. For example, you can get to New York either by plane or by ship. You can get to Moscow by train, by plane or by car. Some people enjoy hiking. They walk. All ways of travelling have their good and bad sides. For example, travelling by train and car let you enjoy picturesque places. Though travelling by train is slower than travelling by plane. But travelling by plane is more expensive.
As for me, I prefer travelling by plane because I think it is the most comfortable way of travelling. It is the fastest one.

I'm going to give a talk about my typical day. I do a lot of different things on a typical day. First, I get up early at about half past six. Then I do my morning exercises and take a shower. I wash my face. Then I have breakfast. I often have a cup of black or green tea or coffee and a sandwich or some porridge and a glass of orange juice. After that I clean my teeth, put my student's books into my bag, get dressed and leave home at about 7.40. I often go to school by bus but sometimes my dad drives me to school. It takes me twenty minutes to get to school. My classes begin at 8 o'clock. I usually have 5 or 6 classes a day so I spend about 6 hours at school. I regularly enjoy after-school activities. I attend our English Drama club on Thursdays. We stage some performances for such holidays as Thanksgiving Day and Christmas. Besides, I am a member of our School Parliament.
I come home at about half past three. There I have dinner. I attend my volleyball club three times a week. After the trainings I go home. At home I take a shower and have a light supper. Then I start doing my homework. I always have a lot of homework so I don't have much free time. If I have some free time, I usually play the guitar. If there is not much homework, I surf the Internet for a bit or listen to music or watch TV at home. I go to bed at about eleven.
