      1.  You have 30 minutes to do this task. You have received a letter from your English-speaking pen friend Helen. 

    "It's a pity that we haven't met in London! We went on holiday in Spain with my parents. Anyway, how was your trip? What interesting places did you see? Did you go shopping? Hope to meet with you next time." 

          Write her a letter and answer her 3 questions. 

          Write 80-100 words. Remember the rules of letter writing.

     Dear Helen, 

     Thanks for your letter. I'm sorry I didn't have time to answer sooner. As you can imagine I was very disappointed that we didn't meet in London. But I hope we'll be able to meet next time.  

     I had a wonderful time in London! I visited the Tower of London and learnt a lot about English history. The most exciting day was when we went to Madame Tussauds and saw all the wax figures. It was great to see lots of famous people! We also visited West End and saw a musical. As for shopping, I bought some nice souvenirs for my family and friends. So I could learn something about English culture and practise the language. 

     Well, that's all from me. Have to go now. Write back and tell me about your holidays in Spain.
