Задание для учащихся 6-х классов от 22 ноября 2016 года: 

1) Скачать с сайта: 11book.ru  учебники Верещагиной, Афанасьевой "Английский язык IV -V классы" для школ с углубленным изучение английского языка. Будет очень много заданий, требующих повторения материала о Великобритании. 

2)Прочитать текст, выданный преподавателем. Перевести его. Пересказать его. Подготовить контрольное чтение вслух. Выкладываю текст: 

                                                     London              

 London is the capital of Great Britain, which stands on the river Thames. 

The West End is the centre of London. There are a lot of theatres, cinemas, galleries and museums there.  

The City of London is the oldest part of London. There are many banks, offices and firms in this part of London. It's the financial centre of the UK. 

Tourists from all the countries of the world go shopping to Oxford Street, which is in the West End of London. They can buy all the things they want in its famous shops. 

The East End of London is the district for the working people. There are many factories, workshops and docks. 

The political centre of London is Westminster. You can find many places of interest there. A  long grey building with towers is the Houses of Parliament. The large clock in one of the towers is Big Ben. Big Ben is the name of the clock and the bell of the clock tower of the Houses of Parliament. People can hear the sound of Big Ben every hour in London.  

 3) Рассказать об одной из достопримечательностей Лондона по плану:  

1. Introduction (I'd like to tell you about...)

2. Name the sight and the part of London where it  is situated. 

3. Say when it was built.

4. Say what it is used for nowadays. 

5. Say what you can see there.

 6. Conclusion (I think you should visit this place as it is really interesting / beautiful)
