My cousin's name is Ann. She is only five. Ann is a nice and funny girl. She likes top play with her toys - a brown monkey, a yellow giraffe, a little white duck, a big black bear and a doll Barby. But today Ann doesn't want to play because she is ill.  When Dad comes home , he sees that Ann is ill. Father says a doctor can help Ann. But Ann says she doesn't want to see a doctor. Father says he knows a very nice doctor. The doctor has got a very nice little black bag with many things in it. Ann wants to see those things. So she wants to see the doctor.

1. I' d like to talk about British holidays. I know some British holidays . They are Christmas, New Year's Day, St Valentine's Day, St Patrick's Day, April Fools' Day, Easter Sunday, Mothering Sunday, Father's Day, Halloween. They celebrate Christmas on the 25th of December, they celebrate New Year's day on the 31st of December and on the 1st of January, they celebrate st Valentine's Day on the 14th of February, they celebrate st Patrick's Day on the 17th of March, they celebrate April Fools' Day on the 1st of April. Easter Sunday is in late March or early April. Halloween is on the 31st of October.

They usually buy a Christmas tree and put it in their home. They decorate a Christmas tree with lights, balls, sweets, tinsel. People send Christmas cards to relatives and friends. Some children hang up their stockings so Santa Claus (Father Christmas) can put sweets, fruit and small presents into them. Many people go to church on Christmas Eve or Christmas morning. British people make their traditional Christmas dinner. They make Christmas pudding, turkey or goose, pies and many other tasty things.

3. Boxing Day is on the 26th of December. This is the time to visit relatives and friends or watch one of the many sporting events.

4. American people celebrate Thanksgiving Day. It is on the fourth Thursday in November. On this day American families gather together and enjoy being with their nearest and dearest. They always have a roast turkey for dinner. They thank god for every blessing and every thing they've got in their life. There is another important holiday. It is Independence Day. American people celebrate it  on the 4th of July.

5. Russian people celebrate a lot of holidays. The most important one is Victory Day. We celebrate it on the 9th of May. On this day in 1945 our country won the Great Patriotic War and World War II against nazists.

6. One of the most favourite holidays is New Year's Day. We celebrate it on the 31st of December and on the 1st of January. Traditionally, on the 31st of December we decorate a fir-tree. I like to see New Year in very much. I always get presents from my parents on this day. We have a tasty dinner. There are lots of tasty things on our table. Among them are different kinds of salad, pelmeni(dumplings with meat), fruit, sweets, and a cake. We always have a party at school and invite our relatives for dinner. Russian people decorate streets, shops, offices and their homes weeks before New Year.

1. People keep animals as pets in all countries: in Idia, England, Canada, America and in Russia. These animals often become the most favourite members of the family. People look after them, teach them different tricks and buy them food, presents and even clothes. The most favourite pets in all the countries are kittens and cats, puppies and dogs. But many people keep parrots and other birds at home. Sometimes they've got hamsters and tortoises, monkeys and snakes, frogs and fishes as pets.

 2. Sometimes little wolves, foxes, bears and crocodiles can become pets, too. People sometimes find little animals in the forests, fields, mountains and other places. The cubs have no mothers to take care of them, they can't live without any help. People often take them home and look after them.They try to help.   

3. I know a lot of domestic animals and birds. They are pigs, cows, goats, horses, ducks, hens, chickens, rabbits.

4. I know a lot of wild animals. They are foxes, bears, wolves, tigers, lions, giraffes, panthers, crocodiles, rhinoceroses, polar bears.

5. When autumn comes, the days become shorter and it becomes colder. A lot of birds can't find food under the snow, so they fly to warmer countries.They come back in spring.

3. In summer I like to have vegetable or fruit salad, for example cucumbers, tomatoes and onions, or some cold soup with kvas or okroshka, I like to drink apple or orange juice, yogurt and tea. In winter I like to have borshch, meat or fish soup and pelmeni. I drink tea with lemon.

4. I dislike to have sausages and noodles, pies and beans, cakes and sweets in summer. I dislike to have cold meat and ice cream in winter.

 - There are four seasons in a year. They are winter, spring, summer and autumn. 

2. What is your favourite season? Why do you like it? - My favourite season is summer because , firstly,  the weather is usually fine, the sun shines brightly in the sky. Secondly, we have our summer holidays which are the longest holidays in the year. We have a lot of free time and that's why I can spend a lot of time outdoors, play different active games, such as football, volleyball, badminton. I can swim in the river or in the lake. Besides, I can go travelling to some foreign countries. Last year, for example, I went to Turkey and had a very good time there.  

3. Why do most people like summer? - I think people like summer because it is the warmest season of the year. Besides, a lot of people have their holidays in summer and they can go to the seaside or to the country and relax. People like summer because the weather is fine, it is usually warm and it doesn't rain much. July is the hottest summer month. People can go to the river, to the lake or to the seaside and sunbathe.

4. Do you often go to the country? Why do people like to have a country cottage?  - I often go to the country and stay at our country cottage. I like to go there because I can spend a lot of time outdoors and  feel relaxed and I can go for a walk, to the river and to the forest and play active games outdoors. I think people like to have a country cottage because they want to have a rest, to spend their time outdoors and, besides they can grow vegetables and fruit there.

5. How do you spend your summer holidays? - I usually go to different places in summer. In June my parents and I go to some foreign country, for example, to Turkey, Egypt, Vietnam and Thailand. In July we spend a lot of time in the country where we like to go for a walk and grow vegetables and fruit trees. In August I stay in town and visit my relatives and friends. I always read books, watch a lot of TV, go to the park with my friends.

5) Прописать букву Ww (дабл - ю) - читается: "уа"  - произносим толко путём резкого сужения и последующего разведения губ, ни в коем случае не опускаем верхние зубы на нижнюю губу! Не должно быть русского звука "в"!

6) Делаем карточку с буквой Ww.

3) Упр.№ 1 стр. 8 Выучить разминку (по желанию)

4) Упр. № 2 стр.8 ответить на вопросы о том, где находятся питомцы детей по модели: "Jack's dog is near the table" .

5) Упр.№ 2 стр.9 Сказать, какого цвета животные, по модели: "Jane's puppy is red."

6) Прослушать запись № 144 и выучить новые слова:

1. happy (хэпи) - счастливый

2. fall (фол) - падать, fall out of (фол аут оф)  - выпасть из

3. clever (клэвэ) - умный

7) Упр.№ 6 стр.9 задать вопросы об именах родственников по модели и ответить на них

8) Упр.№ 7 стр.10 Составить предложения по образцам для игры "Чемпион"

9) Запись № 145 Упр.№ 8 стр.10 выучить стихотворение наизусть.
